"Leef Peeps" is a result of play.   Each one is a unique personality that manifests itself as I work the leather.  I was asked if I felt like  a creator or facilitator when making these, but I see myself more as an explorer, meeting these new characters that show themselves as I work the leather, each one uniquely their own. 

"Leef Peeps" are made from leather, using techniques that I have refined over the last 5 years to create these life like leaves that come to life.  They are mounted on Australian Hoop Pine rounds that I have  harvested and treated myself to a fine polish and wax. 

They have hangers on their back and their very own unique names are on a name plate on their back.  They are just waiting to find their new forever homes!
