Making butterflies out of leaves has become synonymous with my work with leaves and its underline message of chasing dreams and not settling for the 'mundane'.    The imagining of a dream or an idea or inspiration fluttering  by like a butterfly is to me quite a strong metaphor as it presents you with two choices:   do nothing and let them flutter by or chase them till you are led to where it was you wished to be!
